Conditions

Crohn’s disease

Crohn’s Disease can have a profound impact on an individual’s quality of life. Often, traditional treatment options yield limited success, and the side effects of medications can necessitate even more medication to manage them. Unfortunately, these drugs may ultimately fail to provide the desired relief.

The Promise of Stem Cells for Crohn’s Disease

Recent scientific studies have illuminated the remarkable effectiveness of mesenchymal stem cell therapy for inflammatory diseases like Crohn’s. For instance, a 2018 study revealed that mesenchymal stem cells orchestrate both local and systemic innate and adaptive immune responses through the release of various mediators, including immunosuppressive molecules, growth factors, exosomes, chemokines, complement components, and various metabolites.

Another groundbreaking study from 2019 specifically focused on the effectiveness of mesenchymal stem cells in treating perianal Crohn’s Disease. The results were nothing short of remarkable, with significant symptom alleviation and healing observed.

Protocol

Our innovative protocol spans two days and includes the intravenous transplantation of a minimum of 120 million cord tissue-derived MSCs (Mesenchymal Stem Cells). This minimally invasive procedure takes approximately 45 minutes, with minimal downtime. Patients typically return home just two days following their scheduled appointment.
